So pathetic were the anguished cries of innocent souls who were hit by the deteriorating floods at villages of Bihar. Indeed, here arrives a hero, extending his hands to wipe their cries. Akshay Kumar – the savior, is what the people of flood-hit village Kataiya in Supaul district would call him. Yeah, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has decided to adopt this flood-hit village and get in aid of reinstating the lives of victims.

Apaharan, Gangajaal fame Director Prakash Jha confirmed the official news about Akshay Kumar adopting the village. Jha has been involved in relief works over for a long time joining hands with NGOs like Anubooti and Prayas.

Speaking about this great endeavor relieving, Director Jha says that his many Bollywood friends Ajay Devagan, Nana Patekar, Manoj Bhajpayi and Shekar Suman had helped him in the relief works.

Apart from adopting the village, Akshay Kumar has donated 2.5 million to Jha for the rehabilitation works and has assured that he would deliver more funds if needed.

Appreciating the benignant deed, Disaster Management Minister Nitish Mishra has entitled Akshay Kumar as 'Super Hero'…
